Welcome to The Conjurer’s Forging, the second chapter and continuation of Secrets of the Primordial. You are about to meet the Conjurer, a divine being residing on the edge of the universe. Legend says that only those sent by the Primordial itself are granted permission to visit him. It seems you’re on an important quest. Forge your Shards into powerful Relics that will aid you in what lies ahead.

Event Synopsis

We, the protagonists, hold excessive Awareness, creating an imbalance that threatens all existence. Instead of destroying us, the Primordial offered a temporary solution: to offer our OtherEggs, redirecting the excess Awareness, which in turn created the OtherShards.

But this was only a temporary fix.

To restore balance permanently, we must raise the Awareness levels of the Seven Domains to match ours. We’re now on a mission from the Primordial to gather Awareness from creatures across the universe. As we cannot interact within the Domains ourselves, we must rely on the OtherEggs.

For this, the OtherEggs need to grow far more powerful. The Primordial has tasked us with seeking his old friend, the Conjurer — a divine being who can empower the OtherEggs for the journey ahead.

HOW IT WORKS:

Secrets of the Primordial: The Conjurer’s Forging is compatible with both desktop and mobile. Simply log in at: play.otheregggenesis.xyz to start the experience.

1. Connect Wallet

2. Choose your preferred Wallet (we’ve recently integrated the new Yuga Labs Glyph Wallet, which makes onboarding seamless via X or email, allowing anyone to create a wallet in seconds.)

3. Sign Message.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • OtherRelics are ownable, tradeable ERC721C NFTs, each with its own stats, style, and potential. Equipped by OtherEggs and minted through OtherShards, relics are key to success in future events and maximizing rewards. Each OtherEgg can equip up to SIX relics.

  • Burn OtherShards to mint a random OtherRelic NFT. Rarity and metadata are determined onchain, using verifiable randomness powered by VRF contracts deployed on ApeChain.

  • The supply of OtherRelics is determined by the supply of OtherShards, which were created during the first onchain gamified event, 'Secrets of the Primordial.' The Offerings may reopen at a later date, based on supply and demand as we progress.

  • Not immediately. Players will be able to equip and use OtherRelics in the near future.

4. "Congrats! You’re now inside Secrets of the Primordial: The Conjurer’s Forging. To start forging your OtherShards, simply click on the Conjurer’s Domain. (If you’re on desktop, you can adjust the Conjurer’s Domain size by holding 'CTRL' and scrolling the mouse wheel.)

5. Inside the Conjurer’s Forge you can see different areas:

1) Rewards – These are the NFTs and in-game items you can forge by selecting the corresponding OtherShard rarity. Each OtherShard has a different chance of forging a specific Relic. In addition, if you hover your cursor over any Relic, each one has unique flavour text. To learn more visit: OTHEREGG GENESIS: The Relic System.

2) Shard Select - Here you can see which OtherShards you own and choose which one to Forge. You can Forge them in bulk, or one by one. The choice is yours.

3) Forge - After selecting the number of OtherShards you want to forge, simply click this button to start forging them into powerful Relics. You will need to sign one transaction to approve the contract to withdraw your OtherShards (this is only required once), a second transaction to proceed with the forging, and a third transaction to confirm the VRF request.

6. Congrats! You’ve now forged a powerful Relic. You can view all of your forged Relics by clicking on your Profile tab in the top left and navigating to the OtherRelics tab.

7. Leaderboard

The event competition will last for 14 days. Whoever collects the most points wins. Rewards will be [REDACTED] and distributed to the top 100 players. Forging OtherShards - Point Breakdown:

Flicker = 1 Point
Echo = 2 Points
Blaze = 10 Points
Shadowflame = 50 Points
